Over the summer your child may be in need of mental health services as they will not have access to the school counseling resources during this time.
Individual Counseling
Urgent and Emergency Evaluations
Hasbro Children’s Emergency Department: You should bring your child directly to the Emergency Department via car or ambulance if you are worried about an imminent safety concern.
Bradley Access can be used to schedule an urgent evaluation that does not require a trip to the emergency department. Clinicians can typically schedule an evaluation within 48 hours to determine child safety and most appropriate level of care.

Community Care Alliance offers walk in appointments as well as emergency evaluations. To schedule an emergency visit, call 401-235-7120. Walk in hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM @ 800 Clinton Street, Woonsocket
Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) is a brief intervention model with a goal of stabilizing acute crisis situations while providing assessment, stabilization, and referrals to longer term treatment. In-person response within 1-2 hours of the initial call. Call the MRSS on-call number to discuss the referral over the phone: 401-615-9374

Mandated Reporting
As a reminder, all adults in Rhode Island are mandated reporters. If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, it is your legal obligation to report this to the Department of Children, Youth, and Families. To report suspected child abuse, call 1-800-RI CHILD (800-742-4453)
